Two Trees and Their War is the title of a series of seven books written by ex-rocker Terry Gildow. The series follows the main character Marvin and his quest to hunt down the demon called The Harvester. The format for the series is on his website http://www.hewritesonepageaday.com And that’s what Gildow does, he writes on page a day.

In the first book, titled “Brown Blankets; The Crooked Crosshatch” Marvin moves from his mother’s house in Wilkes-Barre, Pa. to York , Pa. to go to school. After moving into a garage apartment Marvin starts having strange visions. One night he discovers blood entering his room and finds a room that doesn’t presently exist, between the upstairs efficiency and downstairs, that has living walls that breathe and pump the blood he found in his apartment. With the help of a friendly neighbor Marvin struggles to keep his sanity and we are caught up in the story, wanting to see if Marvin will survive the onslaught coming.
